Damage to leaves by leafhoppers | deutsch

Symptoms    Very fine whitish to silver-grey mottling, mostly dispersed over the whole leaf; upper surface sometimes nearly white; symptoms restricted to the upper leaf side; sucking damage is caused by various species of leafhoppers, which suck on the lower leaf surface; the phenomenon can be mistaken for damage by ozone.
