Elsinoe – Leaf spot disease of pomaceous fruit – Elsinoe pyri | deutsch

Symptoms    Roundish or angular spots on leaves, a few mm in size, grey to greyish-black, bordered by a dark brown or reddish thin rim; on the lower surface of the leaf minute black dots (fruiting-bodies); loss of leaves
Impact    Known also as Sphaceloma-disease of pomaceous fruit; on apples, pears, Chaenomeles japonica and others
Control    Fungicide treatment recommended only in economic orchards or ornamental plant production (see official register of Plant Protection)
