 | Tips of shoots and young leaves deformed, folded and brownish. In the galls larvae develop, which are initially white and later on orange.

 | Even if there are 2 generations per year, endangering effects are unlikely.
Curative measures A chemical treatment is recommended only for nurseries: at the time of the activity of the larvae or as a preventive measure at time of budburst application of a broad scale insecticide against sucking insects (see federal register of plant protection).
