Post-Conference tours are offered on Saturday, 22 November 2003.
Three routes give participants an opportunity to overview on-going research projects. Tours will start at 9:00 at the main entrance of
BOKU at Gregor-Mendelstrasse 33, A-1180 Vienna, and will end at approximately 18:00. A printed tour guide will be distributed upon registration.
Field Trip
- Forest watersheds for the supply of drinking water to the City of Vienna
- Water management in floodplains, Tour to the Nationalpark Donau-Auen
- Restoration of degraded river systems, recharging the ground water systems
