Technical Equipment
The conference venue is equipped with a video beamer, a slide projector (straight carussel) and a flip chart.
The operating system of the computer is Windows 2000. The Office Suite (Powerpoint) and Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 are installed. Internet access is possible. For further program requirements, please check with us. Recommendation: Powerpoint format *.pps.
Oral presentations
Presentations will be uploaded on the computer in the break before the session or earlier. As media we can use diskettes, CDs and 100MB-Zip Disks. Pre-viewing of the presentation will be possilbe on a separate PC. Presentations will have a time slot of 15 to 20 minutes. The last 5 minutes are intended to be used for discussions.
Poster presentations
Poster boards are 154 x 118 cm / portrait. The surface is made of fabric. Material to affix the posters will be provided. Poster presenters will have the opportunity to make a 2-minute presentation in the plenary hall. This time shall allow the presenters to introduce themselves, explain the rationale and the major result of the poster -- just enough to make people curious.
